Kansas senator files bill to legalize medical marijuana (via Raw Story )

Kansas could be among the next crop of states to go green, if state Sen. David Haley (D) has anything to say about it. Haley plans to introduce a bill that will legalize medical marijuana, according to KCTV 5 News in Kansas City. “It’s just going to be a matter of time before all of this country…

2 States Legalize Recreational 420 use Only 48 More To Go

I woke up this morning and was watching the news and was so happy to hear that 2 states, Colorado & Washington State, have voted to legalize recreational use of Marijuana. I give these states 2 thumbs up, if I had more hands I would give them more thumbs up! These two states have come to realize that legalizing marijuana just might bring in TONS of money in revenue. This will allow people who I call "Closet Smokers" the ability to come out of their closet and feel safe doing so. I can't wait to see this decision will effect these two states in a positive manner and hope that decision makes a big impact on other states to do the same. I will be keeping a close eye on the news on these two states.

I live in Kansas and I would love to see this state and Missouri (where I grew up) jump on this band wagon and quit being prissy bitches that think they are too good. I am 100% positive if these two states do a trial run on how many people would vote "yes" to legalize for recreational use the response would blow their socks off. They would be stunned. Both states could use more revenue and it would also open a lot of opportunities to unemployed people like me who would be happy and elated to work in the marijuana industry. I could go into business for myself and live a great life and for once not have to worry about how I am gonna support my life.

SO COME ON KANSAS & MISSOURI LET'S DO THIS AND LETS BE THE NEXT TWO STATES TO BE ON NATIONWIDE NEWS FOR SOMETHING GOOD RATHER THAN BAD!

Don't Be Scared To Vote!

Ok, so I have some polls up on my blog and I am noticing that people are not voting. Out of almost 200 visitors I only have a few votes...ARE YOU KIDDING ME. You visited my blog for a reason so PLEASE take a moment to vote. It's just a vote, there's nothing to be scared of.

VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! Freedom of speech is here for a reason!

I Disagree With This!

The main argument against marijuana is that it does not produce Serotonin, but affects anandamide which is present in brain and produces soothing feeling by reacting with THC which is present in marijuana. This can actually increase the depression and cause schizophrenia like in regular illegal use after a prolonged use. It is always safe to administer antidepressant under medical care than use the illegal substance. Also, the constituents of marijuana interfere with the process of balancing the chemicals which antidepressants work to achieve and in fact it may aggravate the condition instead of curing it.

I came across the above small article and must say I disagree. Now I am not expert but I do have some depression issues along with my anxiety. I have taken antidepressants prescribed by a doctor and I must say I hate the way they make me feel, non the less I didn't find any improvement with my depression.

I have found from my own use of marijuana that it makes me feel better and helped with my depression as well as my anxiety. I haven't smoked in over 6 months now and I have to say my anxiety has intensified and my depression is slowly creeping it's way back into my life. I had to stop smoking because I could no longer afford to buy. I have found that I am more productive and have a better train of thought when I am smoking rather than when I am not smoking.

So in my case I want to say that marijuana did not make my conditions worse or aggravate them, it actually made me feel better, slow down and relax. I don't care what scientists have to say I know what works for me and what doesn't and no one can tell me what works for me as they are not me.

I support the legalization of it and think it is time for people to stop being scared and stop being "CLOSET SMOKERS".

Jury In Kansas Refuses to Convict On Multiple Marijuana Charges

A little while ago I came arcoss a tweet about a jury in Kansas that refused to convict accused on multiple marijuana charges.

The defendant was being accused on level 3 possession with intent MJ, level 4 possession drug paraphernalia and level 10 no drug tax stamp.  What I find funny about this is that the jury bluntly made it clear even if there was reasonable doubt they still wouldn't convict because they all agree that marijuana should be legalized. They stated the jails are full of people with these silly charges. To read more on the story click here.

I will have to admit I laughed my ass off when I read this and said out loud "that is what I am talking about". I couldn't agree more. Marijuana should be legalized as it is not that big of deal. As I have stated in a previous post, I smoked and it never caused me any problems other than bad cases of the munchies. I mean come on, this stuff has been around since before people were here. It is not like other drugs which are man made & cause multiple issues! I still can't understand why Alcohol is legal and weed isn't. There are millions more reported incidents reported involving alcohol than weed. I just can't wrap my head around this illegal aspect of it and no I am not even high, as I stated in previous posts that I haven't smoked in over 4 months now. So this is my opinion and train of thought and I am not "under the influence" as the law would say. We need more people to stand up for marijuana like these jurors did

Does the damn government even realize how much money they could bring in, in taxes, by making this natural drug legal? I guess not. Plus it is full of old timers who believe and are set in their old fashion ways. Wake up people we are still in a recession you dumb asses and making this wonderful stuff legal will probably help us bring in some money. But I guess that is too easy and you would rather struggle more, I don't know. The government is just retarded and I could care a less about any of them and their decisions. It is just another thing for them to say NO to. They are awesome at saying NO. And I don't want to hear they have mine or america's best interest at heart cause they are full of shit!

Ok. well I have said my piece, read the article and give your feedback. I would love to hear what other people think, especially people in Kansas. How do you feel about this Jury and their decision?

LEGALIZE IT!!!!
